play around with element spacing between the reflector and the driven element moving it a bit closer to the driven element should do the trick,keep an eye on swr as you move it around. but on a stock boom they dont leave you with alot of room to play around with. this tends to lower gain abit as well.

Are you talking about adding the extra wires? I have a copy of that around here somewhere if you need it.
