Whats the Cheapest 6 Digit Frequency counter that will work on this radio? |

Does that one just connect throught the coax or do you have to install it? |

you have to install it, but it is easy and comes with instructions. |

yeah,but the one that will go between your coax won't read rx just tx.with the fc-390 it reads selected channels and transmit.easy hook up |

i got one, i think it is a BLACK CAT model, that hooks up in the coax ( like an amplifier or swr meter )...it only shows the TRANSMIT frequency...and has a fantastic clock...6 digit will read 12 or 24 hour time...and also the seconds if you flip the switches on the back correctly...got it at a yard sale long ago...size is bigger than a COBRA 148 in size...would not sell or trade it for 100 brass monkeys ...some day the digits will start to go out. and wonder where I will find that size digits to replace when or if it is ever needed....*** having fun with my radios *** BIG FOOT |
