Excellent amp. Needs very little drive to make it go, but does require as much as 100a of current and mucho grounding. Antenna system must be top shelf and you should see 900-1kw peak.

I'm not sure what else you're looking for.
It is a custom made high performance amplifier. It uses (2) 2290s driving (4) 2879s. Input and output of driver and final stage are hand tuned for lowest reflection and highest gain.
The case is forced air cooled with a 24v fan.
Drive should be around 1w carrier and 15-20w peak. If you have a radio with higher peaks you may consider the X400 (1 driving 4)or 400 (straight 4).
It will "SPANK" a Texas Star 667.
