I have a chance to trade my Hallicrafters SX-130 reciever, (you hammers I'm sure you are familiar with what this is) for a MINT,MINT Cobra 142 gtl. In your valued opinion, does this sound like a good deal? Keeping in mind that this unit weighs 22lbs. and I would have to pay for the shipping.Thanks guys once again...Eddie |

...no trade...you already have got a COLLECTORS item whether it works or NOT...keep the HALLICRAFTERS....buy your self a decent radio to talk on, but keep the HALLICRAFTERS...once it is gone, you may not be able to get another one in ANY condition |

Prioity Mail isn't as bad as one would think, $13.00 for a cobra 2000 from Chattanooga Tenn. to Staunton ill----I think $33.00 for a cobra 2000 from up in Nova Scotia,Canada in which isn't bad. That is all I use any more. More reasonable....DEAN- |
