Does anyone here know the song, Just a swingin by john anderson???????????? If so then I have written a cb radio parody to the song, my mother inspired me to do it, My wife and mother laugh at me being so much involved in cb radio so my mother jokeingly told me to write a song about it, so I did, shocked her alot,, here are the words, to replace the lirics of the original (Just a Swingin.) by John Anderson.
There's an older man, In our naiborhood.
He's got himself a cb and its really soundin good.
It dead keys about 3 watts and swings to 45,
If you touch his Dang antenna it'll burn your A$$ alive.
Your hair will stand on it's end when he keys the microphone,
And thats the reason why I wish I had one of my own,

Well I talked to a good friend of mine, down on channel two, He said he knew exactly what I needed to go do,
He said to take my cb to a shop for peak and tune,
And if I had it over there by eight it may be done by noon.
So I did exactly as he said then went and picked it up,
And now I got it swingin hard inside my pickup truck and its a swingin,

That was a good one, 'kuda!
I was in the same kind of mood a few weeks ago. Cuddlebear had written about how he handled a fiesty neighbor who was always complaining about getting interference. He played the theme from "Gilligan's Island" and straightened the dude out. Inspired the ol' Colt here to write a song to the tune of Gilligan. Went like this:
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale..
a tale of a-shootin' skip..
This is about how Cuddlebear..
he made his neighbor flip!
Irate was the mighty neighbor man
a grouchy guy for sure..
He had a fight right on the air
He'd had too many Coors'..
had too many Coors'.....
The airwaves started getting rough.
The Cuddlebear was tough!
When grouchy threatened "FCC"
"The Bear" said "Enough"!
The Bear said "Enough"!
Well after runnin' a killerwatt;
nine hours of "Gilligan's Isle"
Ole Cuddlebear...
his neighbor too..
they didn't fight
any more.....
Ole grouchy boy
figured he better keep his yap shuuut..
