As a add on to the topic DX PACKPACKING http://www.copperelectronics.com/discus4/messages/14/16932.html?1020382228
My brother has the FT 817 and were going to try this:
FT 817 to a KL-40 with a 3 foot piece of coax (RG8) then to a Texas Star DX 350HDV with a 3 foot piece of coax (RG8) then to a Imax 2000
Anyone have any thoughts why this may or may not work before we try it?????????
p.s. we have 2 Astron RS70-M power supplies and 1 RS35-M power supply so powering everything up shouldnt be a problem
