Any feed back on the KL 300...I have a Kl200p, and like it altho I do not get the power out of it that the ad says.....Any ideas??? Am conisidering the 300 for the mobile....Thanks for any help...Tom... |

I would recommend the 351 (or 400 they may call it now) instead. The 300p has no switch to turn off the preamp. Both do about 220w peak.
The 200p does about 110w peak, the 203 about 125. |

Yes, the 351 or the 400 would be good for SSB use as well because they are class AB. The 300p, as I am sure the others too, are class C. I have a KL300p and had to convert it to class AB... |

Well thanks for the info i will check them out...Any ideas why my 200p has low output, i only get about 60 watts out of it..feeding it 1.2 watts on AM, and about 12 on SSB...It does not run hot, and it seems to work good, just low output.....Thanks.. |
