Anyone know how to convert the mobile palomar 450 amp from 10 to 11 meters or is there a way to begin with? Just curious as to want to get the full swing out of this amp on 11 meters instead of 10. |

Yeah, they work fine on 11 meter but since this amp was made for 10 meter, it gets about 100 watts more on swing up around the 28MHZ frequencies. |

yeah, but check your swr on the 28. range probably higher to.and when it is higher it will show more power, but its really not. |

Yeah, that's a good point too there Jyd!! I just assumed that since it was made for 10 meter, that it would do more on those frequencies but if this is all I get for power, I'm fine with that! I'll just dig out the big boy if I have to!! Hoping that I don't bleed over the neighbor's pacemaker!! LOL!!! Thanks again!!! |
