How many of you guys talk on the high channels if you have a 120 channel radio?A lot of people around here mainly just use the low channels.Anybody like the high channels? |

I am on the uppers.....27,585 LSB. Very seldom does my radio go below 40.

I LIKE THE UPPER SIDE (SSB) IT ISN'T AS NOSY AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE DX IS BETTER. |

im on ch 27,28,30 (reg 40) 95% of the time as thier are many fine folks to talk to around here.i do however scan both low and high channels once in a while stoping on 27.4750lsb when i do to say hi to some of the guys i know thier.
as for txing way off the normal 40 id need more antennas to cover the range of the radio
or build a tribander or get a tuner and im not into it enuff to pursue it that far. i can go 26.??? - 28.500(antenna) mhz and thats more than enuff channels for me as i normally only use 5 of the 40 cb channels. |
