I have a President P400 I purchased back in '89 or so. I have seen similar looking radios....For instance...The Uniden Washington, and the President Washington. What are the main differences in these radios (if any)? Judging from the fronts of these three radios, they look all the same. I looked on the back of my President P400, and it said it was made by Regency. I never knew Regency made CBs then. Any help provided to this clueless guy would be much appreciated. Thanks.

my o my yes they did starting with they did starting with the range gain in 64 and gong to the end of the 70's they made radios for several companys before they were bought out i beleve at one point uniden owned regency and regency/wilson merged but only the wilson name suvived. i just sent 2 regency L61 radio's to a friend in austraila for use on 10 meters they also were built in the early 80's nice set the range gain in some modles had a crude spech prosser built in and a switch to put it in or out another clame regency made was double sideband full carrer... this is a correct statment not as lie. Regencys scanners were famous good stuff EXCEPT like the HR-6 HR-2 HR-220 and HR-400 they used carbon comp resistors bad move.
