here's a recording of my radio (stock HR2510, inverted L dipole antenna) being received in Lancaster, CA (about 1200 miles distance) on the Lancaster JavaRadio this weekend: www.dxring.net/707/lan707.mp3 |

Most excellent. And a darn good sounding rig too! If every radio and operator sounded this good on the air, well you know. Did you get a reply? Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

JYD- it might have been me. 707 SW Texas. Steve- actually I did get a response or two. I did the radio check on 5 different frequencies with varied results. Unfortunately the conditions between here and Lancaster were mediocre at best, so the AM & FM tests were mostly unintelligible except for the roger beep. BTW- The Band Today (as of 11:50a CST) is PROFOUNDLY Dead. Evidently the results of the CME and magnetic storm. It should pass. Maybe we get some killer conditions this evening.
