Not familair with the Northstar brand, is this a standard 40 channel radio, if so why is it so overpriced??? Little imfor on this radio. Thanks--DEAN- |

it has all the bells and whistles,galaxy is the same thing.take a look at the vr-9000.i bought one,and i get a complement every day from someone.it is the best radio for the price.and it has quality parts in it to.with the bells and whistles. |

Afriend dropped this off here for me to look at and I'm sorry for the experance I have with Galaxys I would not bend low enough to compare the radios. All I can find is straigh 40 channels and ssb. Beside of my Eagle 2000, it looks cheap. That is why with what I've heard about these radios, i can't believe what I'm seeing... DEAN- |
