Ive have noticed here recently the fad of clipping the AMC/mod limiter has really gotten a lot of attetntion on the internet. Why all of a sudden is it a big deal now? All this time up until a few months ago just about everyone that runs a shop was doing it and now it seems like everyone on the net is against it.. Now all most all of my equipment has been modified using the famous NPC mods and i hardley have any problems with bleedover or TVI. I just run my mikegain turned down!!! :-) |

best thing to do is findout what was taken out , then put it back.i always sa y , what the hell do you need more than 100 percent for? to make enemies of other cber`s or your neighbor`s? NAH, avoid problems, crank up, but donot remove limiters. |

Many radios have pots for adjusting the clip level . You can change the point where clipping starts without removing anything. But there are some that don't. |

Well ive found out that removing the limiters in the cobra board radios (8719) does NOTHING at all besides adds splatter. I leave them all in place and just peak the radios for the max swing and leave them at that.... |
