HELLO - I am new to radio and a friend wants to sell me this antenna that he rebuilt for $90. Is this a good base antenna? I do not want an antenna that bleeds like the A99. Does this antenna have a reputation for TVI problems?

90 bucks sounds high to me for a rebuilt antenna ????? as for a99 if you think its bad try a ringo. |

I just won a bid on ebay for one that was rebuilt. But im not gonna tell how much i paid for it either.. LOL. Its my buisness... ;-)
But they are a great antenna nonetheless!!!!
Dunno if its any better than my old Hy gain P 500 but im gonna find out! |

regardless...thats a pretty crazy price to pay when you can find new ones laying around for 60 bucks... |

Look at it this way. If you want something bad enough or its rare enough YOU WILL pay for it regardless of what it costs.. Besides who really cares what someone else pays for something. You didnt buy it with your money it so dont worry about it i say....... |

It has a height of 22 feet, as compared to maco's 20 feet. Grounplanes are 10 feet. |
