I have repaired numerous KLV550's for Copper with the exact same problem, the jumper has been moved to the wrong position. Be advised that any modifications OTHER THAN THE CORRECT JUMPER SETTING on the KLV-550 will void ANY warrantee. If you tamper with the jumper in the picture below and put the jumper on the FIRST TWO PINS towards the front of the amplifier , YOU WILL DESTROY YOUR AMP. If you are unsure when your amp arrives , look at the jumper settings. The jumper should be on the two pins towards the REAR. DO NOT TOUCH THEM! If you purchased your amp from Copper it has already been moved to the correct position you don't need to touch it. Picture #1 |
