Recently picked up a Grant LT and would like to know your opinions about the unit.

I have that radio and receiver is a little hotter than the GrantXL and when tuned up the output is slightly less than the GrantXL but still good output, the noise squlch system works well when there is no Skip. The only thing that i did not like was the feel of the knobs as compared to the GrantXL. It has the 8719 PLL chip as does the GrantXL does.

Thanks for the information.
From what I have been told, Uniden has discontinued producing the Grant LT due to restrictions caused by the versatility of the chip for modification (Heard this at a local CB shop).
