newbie here. lol
had no rx or tx. found loose connection on solder side, fixed it, got rx back. i now have modulation through the talkback, but intermittent carrier on am. sometimes i get strong carrier for 3-4 seconds on deadkey, then it just drops off. tried 3 different WORKING mics, all have same result.
any input is appreciated. ty

im no tech ..but kinda sounds like possible bad fina;???.. are you just a meter radio and 1 jumper ? male sure ya jumpers are all good.hopefully more will chime in
