Well guys, I lost two of my cb radios this week. both were Uniden: pc 66 and pc 76 xlw. same problem with both, an awful racket started coming through speaker on talkback, tried several mikes, with all the same results. I have used both for over 15 years off and on. Of course this is why you carry more than one radio when out on business trips for several days and an extra mike or two as well. Now if someone says, Hey Keith, your radio is not done for, tell me what you think. The noise is like feedback if mike is held close to speaker and mike gain turned up to the fullest. It also makes other noise in this as well. I have a feeling though they are both done for. I hate to lose good radios, especially Unidens made in the Phillipines. By the way, no matter what radio I put in my pickup, SWR's stay right at 1:1 to 1. Keith in Atlanta CEF 150 |

I would disconnect the talk back, it would not hurt anything since in some sense they are unusable att. CEF795 73 REVPO/DOCTOR/CEF 795 Wavin a hand from the cornfields of INDIANA

Paleo56, Yes we will restock them. We have been disabling the out of stock items. Which means they wouldn't be viewable on the website. We decided it might be better to show them as out of stock instead of removing them until they are back in stock. So now all out of stock items are viewable. We were hoping that showing them would send the message that we would be getting them back in. However it may be causing customers to think we aren't going to restock them. We also started showing "Discontinued" items as a reference for customers. This may cause some confusion as well. What do you think? Forummaster Forummaster CEF001 CVC001
