Off to Wenatchee WA for a couple of days to install a some ip-links for alarms systems. These are like a packet gateway, in that they take a radio signal from an alarm, relay via radio to the next link AND feed it to the monitoring stations via internet and/or phone line. Redundancy in a big way. Should be fun, and even more I GOT TOLD by my boss to take my girl friend with me. All costs covered. Guess he must want to keep my happy, as I'm the only guy trained for radios on his staff.. Tech237 N7AUS God made me an athiest, who are you to question his wisdom?

Well got home safe, except for a warning about a missing headlight (hi-beam), a check engine light that came on about 40 miles from home and a trunk lock that's decided to work only when it feels like it. Tech237 N7AUS God made me an athiest, who are you to question his wisdom?

So what was the ck engine light? Mine was an o2 sensor and the converter was clogged. Went out of town, only 100 miles, and started losing power. Replaced the sensor with a standard replacement and the converter with a generic. All the codes cleared and runs fine now. 73 Pressman

OH nothing too serious. I had two codes one telling me my Cat was shot (knew that two weeks earlier when it started rattling) and the other telling me "coolant is not getting hot". Cat I'll replace after finishing putting the MG back together (waiting on a radiator to be re-cored). Meanwhile the Chevy is running well, other than a slight smell. Apart from having another trip coming up soon (this I'll have the MG running yeah). Things took a turn at work this week. Due to a few people leaving (two to better jobs -for them, and one because after being on all tree shifts, she decided she didn't like any of them - seems more like she didn't like work), we have gone to 2 12 hour shifts, until we can get more people trained (State and federal requirements) and on the floor. 3-1/3 on then 3-2/3 days off. 7-7 is a LONG day, but not as long as when I ran my own business.
