I am briefly going to introduce/reintroduce myself as I either may not have been active on this forum in a long time, and am new to it, or some of you may know me from a different forum. My name is Eric Extreme and I am from Auburn, Massachusetts. You may have heard me DXing on the airwaves using the call sign 2 American Eagle 813 or simply American Eagle 813. Locally I am known as "Extreme". I have been involved with the hobby since 1992 (20 years going strong!) I spend most of my time on 27.385 LSB (38) and 27.555 USB (52). Sometimes I may also be heard on random AM channels between 22 & 28 DXing. I hope to catch some of you on the airwaves. If you here me out there please give me a shout or let me know that you heard me out there. 73! Catch a radio wave, Hang 10-4 !!! - Eric Extreme American Eagle 813 Auburn, Massachusetts Eric Extreme 2 American Eagle 813 (2AE813)

Why would a Professional Wrestler need a bodyguard? Those guys are not wimps even if their matches are well plan it still takes a well built person to preform them. |

Why would any sane person want to push around a professional wrestler? Same kind of person who likes to kiss rattlesnakes on the lips? Your radio 'Mythbuster' since 1998

Cool deal Eric! I ran up on Dusty Rhoads one night between Vero Beach and Lake Wales FL. on SR 60 at Hornes Resturant in a little place called Yee Haw Junction. He was traveling with his TV enemy in his gold Caddy with bullet proof glass. Nice guy, but not one you'd want to push around. At one time he was a deputy here. After we left there and continued east, it was way past dark thirty, my wife was behind me in another car when a bob cat ran across the road in front of me and my wife ran over the gator that was chasing the cat. We came on into town, road 60 isn't a good place to stop at night. 73 Pressman

Starface you're right, SR60 can be bad even now with 4 lanes. We had just gone around the 20 mile bend heading east. It was two lane then with canals on both sides. I used to hunt just east of that spot and gators were and still are thick. That's been like 35 years now. Good ole Virgil. I worked with one of his friends at Piper. Bruce has since passed but worked with the big guy for the county before they both changed careers, he said Virgil never backed off from anyone and find a deep hole if he was after you Eric: you're so right about SR 60. It crosses Highway 441 and at that time was busy with N-S traffic because I-95 wasn't finished so you never knew who you'd see at YeeHaw Junction. Yeah those enemy showings were for drama. Then it was Miller time! 73 Pressman

Holopaw is still a lump in the road. Used to have two gas/stores, now one, pray you don't have to use the rest room. I saw green things on the walls, worst, they saw me! I carry a roll in the car now in case I go west on 192. BTW, I used to hunt on the Morman land out there. Of late I've started taking the Turnpike when I go to Disney or one of the parks. To get to the Pike from here I take SR 60 to YeeHaw then north. Yeah the Circle-K is still there. I almost bought 3 acres off of 60 out there. Water's nasty out of the ground, sulfer and tanen. When I go see my brother in Winter Haven it's 60 all the way. Next time you go by the Auburndale Speedway, the little house next to it is where my uncle lived till he passed. 73 Pressman

Sure I can back up these claims. Send me your email addy through a private message and I can show pics of me in Muscle & Fitness Magazine, bodyguarding pro wrestlers, doing the astronomy thing, leading a paranormal investigation group... most of it is up on my facebook page actually. Technician is easy it seems. It is the general I am more worried about. My big thing for radio is DXing and you need a general license to hit the lower frequencies best for DXing. If you teach astronomy, you should know of my son. He is a professional Astronomer and teaches astro-physics at college in Arizona. Look up Brian Rachford on internet and he will be there. HARVE UNIT199 CEF0210/CVC#018/HAM#010 Midwest 10 Meter Net Controller
