Ignor the 15cm of RG58 being 15pf as its is closer to 8pf, but 15cm of RG58 is about the correct length of coaxial cappacitor for the required broadbanding but only OK for about 100w of power due to the very high voltage pressent (so Ive been told?) Is there any antenna Elmers out there who can work out the lengths of the three coax matching sections above the choke using RG58U with .66vf I would be very gratefull, I know it can be done but I am just not clever enough, not looking to use much power and would like to get cheap as possible example built mainly for 10/11mt RX. At the moment useing above measurements with RG58U I have a good working antenna for 24mhz with a low swr (broadbanded enough for 23.500mhz to 25mhz) with a reasonble swr, altering the radiator top element does not change the resonant frequency of the antenna.
