I remember the boys on chnl 13 use to get real mad on SUNDAYS when the CEF net was on..funny they should have joined and enjoyed the nets...73 see you on 10/11 REVPO 73 REVPO/DOCTOR/CEF 795 Wavin a hand from the cornfields of INDIANA

They used to raise heck with us on chnl 13. I am Midwest net control on 10 mtr but I do not have the best set-up in the world , just a mobile hf antenna hooked up to a Yaesu 857D. I am on every Sunday and hope one of these days to make contact with some of the members. HARVE UNIT199 CEF0210/CVC#018/HAM#010 Midwest 10 Meter Net Controller

Thats sad that the net has gone downhill. I remember years ago when it was all the rage. I tried a few times but from Colorado I never seemed to break through. I rememeber reading all of the contacts that were made though here on the forum. Sad. Dan N0RAD/Colorado 813

It is sad, it's like when Lonnie Died he took CEF with him. I don't recall a net after his passing. |

I belive we can get the Net going again. We need to just keep on here posting our contact's ever few day's and people will start to get courius again about if they too can have any luck making any DX contact's. It's is bad that Tech 808 passed, but let's not let his and the other's that started the Net hard work die too. I read on here how much time they put into finding the right channel, it was amazing how much time and effert they put into this. Well I guess only time will tell if the Net will make a come back or not. Sorry if I make anyone mad. Kent Kerr Cef 294 Snowfire Union Valley, Oklahoma MID-SOUTH CEF NET CONTROL

Someone has to step up to plate that can be dedicated to running it, for some reason a lot of the gang that used to be on here with the exception of the ones whom has passed, doesn't hardly get on here anymore, maybe since old man winter is almost here, more will get back on here. Starface I would talk anyways, after a while they will go away, I have some around here like that, they are very rude and disrespectful, all you can do is pray for them. |
