Has anyone heard anything from Gayle? He has not been on the forum since Sept 13th. I sent him an email, but no reply from that. Just wondering how the old boy is doing, we chat once a week, but I have not seen in the forum in a long time.

I think what I can do next is have a radio gram sent to his house, it's worth a try. |

Update:
Got this letter in the mail today:
Hello Mr. Gafford and Copper Friends,
This is Opal Stephen, Gayle Wrights Sister-in law.
I'm sorry that I haven't written you sooner but we have been very busy lately.
Gayle passed away on Sept 13, 2011.
His Wife and Kids are doing OK.
My other Sister and I are here to support them.
I wanted to tell you how much it meant to Gayle to hear from you all. He hadn't been in good health for long time and didn't get out much.
His contact with people like you were very important to him.
I want to thank you again for staying in touch with him.

So sad, I knew something had happened to him. He never missed being on here. I got to know Gayle real well, him and Lon had been great friends to me here. I will miss him, but at least I know he is with Lon and Shirley. I think we can all agree a great forum member has passed on, but we will never forget you Gayle. R.I.P my friend!

Very sad over the loss of Gayle. Had a feeling something had happened, he tried to keep things going here on the forum. I feel bad too that I hadn't checked in on the forum till today to find out about Gayle! We had to put our daughter in the hospital Sunday at noon, so things here have been in turmoil.
Gayle kept the weather report going so let's all pitch in and pick up where he left off.

Sorry to hear about Gayle, he made a lot of interesting posts in the past. I guess he enjoyed the Copper forum until his last day. His last check in was the same day that he passed away. RIP Gayle.
