Hey guys and gals I have been so very busy lately and not had much time for my hobby. Things are beginning to wind down so now I think I can get back to doing what I love! DX Propagation! Is the worldwide 11 meter skip cycle coming back around a little? Seems like ages since the last time I sent out my QSL card to another country or even state for that matter. I see many of my friends still here and sadly to say some are gone and will be missed. I see a lot of new members here also which is fantastic that copper is growing. Hope to get in touch with my old pals and make some new ones soon. Getting ready to be back on the air so be listening for the HOTWIRE CEF491 from the Cornfield! Hi Kenny (Hotwire) Good to read your going to have more time for the radio again. I've not touched 11 meter (CB) in some time, My locals are jerks and I stay away from 11 meter. I'm still very active on the Ham bands were no need to be waiting for DX to come back as there is many bands to talk on so that keeps me busy. If you not got that ticket yet you need to, your missing out on a big world of radio. Other then that my coax is mess up on the Imax 2000 and I've not took the time to change it. Maybe once I know 10 meter is going good again I'll change it and use the Imax for all 3 10-12 meter. Let me know if your a Ham yet and if not get the ticket and we can talk daily and evenings on 20 and 40 meter, maybe even 80 meter. 73 George/KI4NBE and (not in use) Starface |
