About 9:30 Eastern Standard time last night August 5th 10 and 11 meters where alive with sporadic E propagation. Not sure if it was a meteor shower or what, but the east coast was privy to some of the best western conditions in a long time. I worked the west coast with almost phone like clarity. If your looking for good conditions, I would check tonight to see if things will repeat. Look for 524 around 27.375 LSB and higher. Good luck and hope to see you there... |

The Perseids meteor shower, the most well known is on the rise. Should give up to 80 meteors an hour this weekend 12/13th at it's peak. Check the internet for the best times. They are falling every night from now until about the 22 of August, so keep listening. |
