Can anyone recommend an amp that would work with my 29 WX NW ST. I am looking for something that would be somewhat small (about the size of one of the KL-203Ps) I see that copper has the 200P - Does that one work just as well as the 203P? If not then which one would you buy? |

The 203 is really a 120 watt amp. The 200 is a 100 watt amp. On SSB the 203 have been known to do 175-190 watts. Run no more than 1-2 watts DK into it. And it should last you for years. Izzy CEF#502

the kl-203 will be good. you,ll NEED to have your deadkey/carrier lowered to 1 or 2 watt no more then that. they dont need much drive to reach full out put.make sure your antenna/coax is up to the task also. dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64
