Finally! Solar cycle 24 seems to have awakened! http://www.n3kl.org/sun/noaa.html

What this will mean is that the F layer will begin to refract signals and mean good long distance DX for the upper HF bands (like CB and 10 meters). It's been over 4 years since a flare of this size has been observed.
