Has anybody missed out on a deal like this one?A long time ago, A good friend of mine had a Cobra base station he had set up.He bought it brand new.He showed it to me and I said "thats nice",not knowing what it was because I wasnt into radios back then.All I remebered was that it had a clock and an external speaker that came with it.Sound familiar yet?A Cobra 2000.Years later,after I started into the radio world,I had called him to see if he still had the radio and he said ,no, I sold it for $50. I almost cried!He said that if he had known that I wanted it , He would have just given it to me.He said it was a virgin too, it had never been opened up.Well,I sure kick myself every time I think about that.Any one else? |
