I just got this radio from a friend in the Lone Star state. And I have to tell you, it rocks!
This is one SWEET lil' radio my friends.
And only 30 mins after I unboxed her, I was down on 26.0550Mhz checking my SWR, and I decided to just key her up and gave a short "AUDIO".
Well skipland was waiting I guess, because the unit 513 in Georgia came back to me. He said I was 10 pounds strong and the audio was fine as kind. All this on AM! And with the radio dead keying 3 watts!
AMPS, who needs AMPS! *G*
Anyway, I just wanted to share this with all of you fine folks.
AM skip, it has been a few years since I have had the pleasure of that. But I still love my SSB! |
