Hey,what is ment by power multiplication when refering to antennas?Also,would a Wilson 1000 have more gain than a K40 "K30" antenna?Thanks

4 watts times 28 times multiplication = 112 watts.My favorite mobile antenna Wilson 1000.

power multiplication is a ratio of power to aperent power like 3 db gain is 2 to 1 so a 1 watt radio is a 2 watt radio to the reciving station... roughly 1 db if your station is realy 1 watt it looks like 1.2 watts 2db it looks like 1.6 watts 3 db is 2 watts 6 db is 4 watts 9 db is 12 watts. what the seller is saying is MY ANTENNA WILL MAKE YOUR RADIO LOOK LIKE X * ( power mult factor) The answer to your question is if the wilson was tuned to ch 40 and the K-40 th ch 1 the wilson could have XXX more gain because it is tuned there.
