There was a person on the radio that i had recognized his voice. It was someone that i use to talk to like 15+ years ago on the radio with a few of my friends also and he recognized my handle as well. Has this happened to someone after being off the air for so long that when you return you recognize a voice on the other end? CEF#1021

I took almost 2 years off a few years ago. When I got back on, the channels were mostly dead. Except for one, channel 3. And when I got in there, I knew a few, but more then I knew, knew me. It was kind weird, but nice that they knew me. Mike Moderator120 CEF#0120/HAM #222 KB1NYD CVC#0041

Back in my Trucking days it happen to me a lot. I got to become real good friends with the Truckstop Radio Operator's(Most T&A's) across the country. So now being off the road for many years I'm sure If I went by a T&A and heard the voices on the radios I would still be able to call them by name and likewise. Thanks for sharing, it brings back good old times. George/KI4NBE/Starface CEF Ø476/CVC ØØ14/CEF HAM Ø181 CEF Southeast Net Controller
