You know guys, each night I wake up very upset about what is going on in the world. America is going down the toilet, and we are already seeing what the war is causing overseas: Blood. Now I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with what is going on overeseas, but I do worry about my good friends over there. Now, here in the good ole USA, where everyone is supposed to be patriotic and brotherly, I get taken to the cleaners. Let me tell this story very quickly, and then you guys tell me what I should do. I placed an order with www.exportradios.com back in August of last year. It was not a large order, but it was around $175; which is a lot for me. After 4 weeks, and after Sept. 11, I was forced to cancel my order on Sept. 20. Partly because of the wait, but mainly because the company I worked for laid me off. I had received my credit card bill and was paying interest, but still, no product from them. On October 16, I received my next bill, and saw they did not credit me once again. I called, spoke with a nice lady, and she guaranteed me that I would receive my money that week. Guess what? On November 18, my wife informed me that my card was still not credited. Now, this had been 3 months at this point, and the little jobs I had been doing around town were just barely enough to pay for my bills. I contacted them again, but this time I was very firm. I spoke with a man named Shawn Dillen, and he informed me that they were in the middle of a merger, and that my credit had been lost. He said that he would personally credit my card that day. Well, he did. He refunded my card for $95.17. For some reason, they charged me a fee for cancelling or something. Now it is January, and I have written a letter to my credit card, the East Texas BBB, and the State Attorney General of Texas. My credit card company is looking into the matter, but they said that this company has a lot of complaints about this, and they are looking into possible credit card fraud.(I'm simply repeating was i was told. I'm not making any alegations.)The BBB has written me twice with EEI's response, and each letter is full of lies. The Attorney General is looking into this, and I have spoken with a few others that have had good results when dealing with them. With all this being said, I don't know what to do. The first is coming, and I could really use that extra $60. If anyone has any information, please let me know. |

I thank The Lord and all of you here that I found this forum. I had found the EEI website and was going to order a complete new mobile set-up. I had heard little complaints about them but nothing like this. To top it all off I got on their forum and they have people complaining on it although they ban them shortly thereafter so Copper is getting my business. Not only do you hear nothing but good things about them but they are willing to ship C.O.D. now that's loyalty to the customer. I don't know of any other electronics company that does that. HERE'S TO A GREAT COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

WhiskeyKilo:Been there and done that more than once. You can't dwell on it as it will eat you alive.Chalk it up to a costly experience and move on to your next project.Throughout life you will continue to make mistakes and be cheated and have your property stolen by deadbeats the world over. They will have to pay the price for thier deeds someday. |

I live in the Metro area where Copper is located.I have done business with them for the last few years and purchased many products.I know the people who work there and you couldn't ask for a better bunch of folks who go out of their way to satisfy your needs.I once screwed up a new mobile radio trying to do a mod and they still got the manufacturer to fix it under warranty!! I hope that they continue to be in business for a long time because it is getting harder and harder to find reliable stores that you can order from online and be confident that they will give you what you are paying for.Their prices are VERY competitive too! If you want them to carry other products that perhaps they don't stock at this time, email them with some suggestions. They will listen to you and consider your ideas.I have had personal experiences with them and they are open to suggestions. Another Copper Fan. |

Add me to the long list of Copper Loyalists ! Need to cancel an order ? It's never a big deal like those crooks in Texas. Always got my stuff on time in good shape at a reasoable price from Copper. Fancy websites don't impress me, service and knowledge does. Hope you have a very prosperous 2002 Copper ! You deserve it ! |

coppers is great! IM a long time customer and have ONLY had one bad with them. I orderd a Night -K- Eagle when they first came out back a few years ago and they sent me a silver eagle. I sent it back and found the Night K Eagle was on backorder because of a fault in the mike. They told me it would take 6 weeks to a month but they came through and 2 weeks later i had a Night -K- Eagle im my hands!!!! Kudos to Coppers!!!!!!!! |
