Fellow Radiomen:Tonight at 7:45 pm EST I talked to 228 - The Desert Fox on 27.165 MHz located in Arizona.Now his station must be at least 2000 miles from me.He sounded as good as any 100,000 watt FM station locally.His modulation was booming without being offensive.No fade outs,good strong signal in the 8 db range.You have to appreciate the effort this gentleman has put into one fine sounding radio station. |

I am in arizona,
i am 411 out here. I will ask around. AND HEY, 27.165 IS MY LOCAL RACHET JAWING STATION!
I probably know him by his normal handle. The desert fox dosent ring a bell. hmmmm.
But I am on 17 all the time! I am on there right now at 6:44pm on sunday. I am sure you might have heard us making fun of a local cber named thrasher, aka trashpunk or trashdump. haha he does drive bys of women and children. What is your callsighn on the radio vern? Maybe you and I can make a contact. |

Taz:My handle is Greenhornet and sometimes on skip I'll use 251.I'll have to swing by ch 17 everynow & then.I don't really talk on the radio much anymore. |
