I would like to have anybodies opinion on the deal I just made last week.I had a Galaxy Saturn Turbo that was bought new by me on March of 98.It had a modulation kit put in it,talkback,peaked and clipped,and the fan kit on the heat sink.It deadkeyed 15-75, swung 180 no matter what the power was set on.I traded it for a Yaesu FT890.I dont know anything about ham radios but I know this thing has the works such as antenna tuner and has been converted to 11m.It also came with a desk mike that has all kinds of gidgits on it.The reports I get for the audio quality are great.They tell me it is the cleanest sounding radio between our local group.In everyones humble opinion, was this a good trade? |
