I've always wanted a walkie talkie that has a built in amplifier that does approximately 200 watts, and has capabilities like the freeband radios out there. I've thought about rigging one to an amp and a battery on a bicycle through the external antenna jack as a project. I need the extra power to talk local with all the skip lately and I just might could make some skip contacts too???? |

Jerry- All you need for your project is: Radio- Eagle Spitfire or Titan RPSY201 w/mobile adaptor Amp- KLV 200p Generator- (2) bicycle light generators Battery- 25 AH gel cell Charger- build cheap regulator circuit Antenna- 108" whip of course! This will work nicely while simultaneously talking and coasting downhill. |
