Does the 2970dx clarifier track on tx and rx? If not is there a mod for this? I seen it for the dx but not sure if that is a new dx, "blue dot", or older dx? Anything else that suld be done on these or is it close to as good as it gets out of the box? Dont want to be screwing around on a +350 radio and loosing the waranty. |

you just answered your own question....don't mess with it, it is an excellent radio right out of the box...and you don't really need a tx clarifier because it has VFO Sean CEF867 CVC81 "Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to!!"

Hows the receive on them? Is it as good as a tuned HR2510? And yes I now realize that since you can choose any hz it is allmost the same, better in fact. |
