ok heres the deal we have a cber in my hometown that likes to give people trouble like keying everyone out or blessing everyone out i have been into talking and working on cbs for 3 years now and i love my cb hobby ok you guys i aint going to pinn his coax i want to build something that will plug his ears or something of that sort have any of you guys got any schematics of something i can build to put a end to this like something i can throw out close to his house and that will give him a dead key of 30db or more not useing a cb or something of that sort please help me out guys thanks you all can post here or email me sidewinder107@alltel.net |

Get your hands on an old radio, and an old car battery. Connect the radio to the battery and drop the apparatus in a bush in his yard. |

Some of the controllers for radio controlled toys operate in the cb band.They emit a hum when you move the controll knob,tape it down where it sounds most annoying.You can buy the crystle for the frequency you want at radio shack.My personal favorite is a cheap walkie talkie hooked to a 12v car battery near your "friends" house.A 1 mW walkie talkie will shut down his ears for a week or more before the battery goes dead. |

I was thinking the same thing at the time. I would purchase a cheap walkie talkie,add an oscillator to it with an annoying tone and drop it off somewhere very close,"as close as possible" to his base location.Get the crystal for the channel he's bothering you on and change the batterys every so often. Oh such sweet revenge and no one gets hurt except for his ears but it's only right for the jamming he's done to you for so long. |

Why spend the extra cash ,if you are going to do something illegal,pin or remove six feet of coax.If you really want to impress him, catch him on the street an physically explain whats wrong with what he is doing. Of course it may cost you in court. |

I have spoken to Riley on a few occasions (professionally) and I am POSITIVE that Riley would never step foot on this forum.

I have done this on alot of people in my area, so i have several methods.
#1: Get a 40ch. walkie talkie small and make it waterproof by putting a large amount of water sealent or silicone on it just incase it rains. Next, you can set it to the ch you want to plug his ears with, then climb a telephone pole(next to his house preferably) and strap it up there as high as u can get it(over 15ft)so he cant knock it down if he sees it. and thats about it.
#2: Get a 40ch. walkie talkie small and make it waterproof by putting a large amount of water sealent or silicone on it just incase it rains. Then put it in his bushes or throw it in one of his trees inside a plastic bag. I said plastic bag so hopfully a stick would hook it and it would stay in the tree.
#3: This one is my favorite by far. Take a car, (preferably yours) and park it in fron of his house with a 40ch walkie talkie. Since its in a car you can hook everything up to the car battery. And you can even put several batteries in the car too and plug his ears for months. next put a motor on the channel knob so it will change the channel. If you can set it so it will go through every channel in about 2 - 4 seconds, try to make it kind of long cause the knob will wear out fast on cheap radios. And if the guy sees the radio in the car and breaks the window you can take him to court or somthing and make him pay for the window. so you cant really lose with #3. I have done #3 the most and let me tell you it get really fun!!!!!!!!!!!
and last but not least
#4:If the guys neighbor dosent like him then this one is great. Talk to his neighbor and see if you can get him to let you put a small radio with a cheap rad shack mag moung in his garage with a power supply. Since it a power supply the the radio would probly over heat first and die. but make sure the swr and everything is ok with it before you do it, the try and get a fan on it. and even play a squeel through the mic. Since it would be his neighbor it would shurely bleed over several channels.
well this has been fun telling you this, i have been laughing really hard since i started typing it so im sure i misspelled somthing.

Hello,
How do you think we should handle someone posting a message using another persons name or call sign? Should we
a) Do nothing
b) Erase the message
c) Ban the posters ip address
d) Erase the massage and Ban the posters ip address
Everyones opinion is welcome.

Personally I don't like giving life sentences the first time around.I would say erase the message and ban the posters ip address for sixty days on the first offense.If he fails to learn anything and pulls the same stunt again ban him for life. |

I met him 5 months ago at the SeaPac northwest division Hamfest in seaside, OR.
All I can say is that I was not very impressed by this individual. |

B-intermod. That's fine, however I met Riley over 2 years ago and have had 1-on-1 conversations and been in private meetings with him. I'm willing to bet I am a better judge of whether he would write that or not.

Ahhh, an imposter. Never thought of that. As a matter of fact when I looked up the callsign it never occured to me who the call belonged to until now. Interesting. Oh well, we found imposters before, we'll find them again!

hey 707, thats a good guess but its not true. I have been banned and when the forum master blocks the ip address he dosent bloce just one ip he blocks a group....IE. lets say your ip is 12.5.5.5
then the forum master would block 12.0.0.0-12.255.255.255, and thats the whole netblock. or maybe just half of the netblock, because maybe somone that has not made an offense could use the same isp with an ip in the same netblock. so if you happened to sign off and then sign on again it wouldnt make a difference

Heres a goodie! I know a guy here locally that talks on the radio(hes a good guy though) that has a next door neigbor kid that runs a R/C truck. everytime he runs the truck he wipes out my CB neigbor everytime and it is not just a few channles but all 40 plus! When that happens he usually give up talking on the radio until the kid is done or his batteries run down! That might help out if you have a problem CB neigbor! Just get a RC vehicle and leave the transmitter on and well, that guy wont talk long!!! LOL! |
