A good friend just picked up this base station and we're looking for any info we can find. From what I've gathered it's mostly the same as most other EPT board radios but still rough to find specific info....for example...channel expansion..etc.. Did find alignment proceedures but that was about it as far as tech stuff. Any info provided would be great! Thanks in advance, Hank CEF559

the cbs2100 uses the classic-original style-ept3600*** galaxy board. should i continue hank look at the mods for the other models, 500, 1000i think...i THINK 1 of them was the same, move a jumper & reset. i THINK.... |

hank, from what i can find, this looks to be the EPT3600-14B board. the same one that is in the galaxy DX radios. i compared the PC board layout to the galaxy DX99 and they look pretty much identical. here are the basics, but any mod for the galaxy DX radios should work. L33, VR14AMC, VR12ALC, VR13AM PWR, VR5 FM DEV. the PLL is the MC145106 hope this helps, matt |
