i did the channel mod for my fd1 using the freq counter on/off and the ANL on/off now all it does is stayed keyed up and transmits a god awful squeal so i but everything back to the way it was b4 the mod (stock) and it still does it and could only get the channels to mod with only one switch durring the mod so what i do?

n/m after i was in chat talking to Patzerozero and others pat got me thinking and i looked over the board real good come to find out some soder made its way onto the main PCB from my iron an the other end of desk...

DFS, You will like the FD1 ,I do like mine, get great reports all the time and on SSB it kicks butt.

Operators cant believe it`s a CB radio with no mods other than extra frequencies and a DM-452 power/echo mic. If you dont have a DM-452 hooked to your FD1 then you should order one from Copper, you will like it.
