I WAS told by a friend of mine you guys wont unlock clarfiers on the radios you sell how come???????????? |

That's why if you want that option buy only radios that track xmit from the factory,simple,but costs more. |

ok so big bob what radios would that be?can you name any that copper sells?lets say someone doesnt care about the warrany and wants it unlocked you guys still wont do it? |

ok well then how come modifying a 10 meter radio for 11 meters does not VOID THE WARRANTY? |

Cbs are type accepted units and as such cannot be modified and still retain warranty,10 meter radios are not type accepted and can be modified by a dealer and still retain warranty,the law applies to the cb at the date of manufacture,as for other non-type accepted radios the law applies to you the end user and whether or not you use it legally or illegally,the cb must remain unmodified to be type accepted. |

I would say yes it is not a cb,my galaxy 2517 came with an unlocked clarifier and it is not a cb. |

Hey bob, I have a Northstar 9500 Base station and it has that dang Course and fine clarifier on it. Looking for a mod to open it up using one of the tuning knobs. Even a ten turn setup would be better that this thing. Any thoughts or mods. Any body have a schematic on this radio? |
