looking for suggestions on a swr meter for six meters (other than $$$bird). most of the common meters are rated 3 to 30 mhz so how much accuracy would be sacrificed at 50 mhz? Before I spend big bucks for a meter I would rather invest in a MFJ ant analyzer. |

As I understand it, most SWR bridges will work up through 2 meters pretty well. So use whatever you use for CB and it should work okay. |

As long as you can get the needle to deflect all the way over to the set point on the meter, any CB meter should work fine. |

diddin Most meters will work on 6 ..... the best way to check this is to put a 50 ohm load on the swr bridge put a low power 6 meter signal in it and see if it reads a low SWR. |
