Gator,was looking at the gain spec on that antenna,2.14db? that antenna is a half wave at 11 meters.wasnt gain figures established,with the half wave dipole being the baseline?how 'bout it techs. |

Well as far a wireless coax goes, it has been around for years! I used it in the Army in the 70ties. No kidding ...it works like this. A small xmitter is mounted at the base of the antenna . The received signal is then xmitted to a receiver mounted close to the radio you are using then into the radio. Of course the same is done(only in reverse) to send. |

well guys ive got it up and working great 2 s~ units better than the penatrator 500 and only 19 foot on the side of my tower !!!!! Thanks guys !!! Allagator station ! |

Allagator running it vertical or hozizontal? On the side of the tower? Also how much hay did you move today? worked on a belt driven reese mower today, real quiet mower for cutting hay. also windrows the grass. But still have to rake it to big bales. Also how far did you put it off the side of the tower? |

well guys the ramrod is vertical !! Hal big bales and moved 18 bales before the 78 ford jumped time and stranded me about 3 miles from the farm thank god for tractors LOL !!! 8 foot standoff from the tower and the 2 s~units is to a guy about 20 miles from the south of me and the GatorRod is on the south of the tower !!!!! |

Hey guys i put anotherone up today for a friend and he said he has better luck with the Gatorod than his A99 but the recive needs some help !!!! anyideas for a A99 and Gatorod 40 foot in a pine tree ????? |

BoGator i like your name LOL !!! I cant get the link to work no more neather . but the gatorod is just a homemade Ramrod made by Avanti . metal dipole is all it is ! witch it works great for what i do cause i use the M104C for skip if the Gatorod dont get me there !!!! P.S : Dindin i should have picks up by sunday if i get lucky and get the cam to work !!!! Allagator |
