I LIKE BOTH these radios but can only buy one.what radio do you think is better the connex 4800 or the galaxy 99 and why.thanks |

I have had them both, loved em both, but kept the Connex 4800, best mobile I have ever owned.

In my opinion, the Galaxy 99 is an expensive noise toy when compared to the Connex 4800. You're getting far more serious radio and less kiddy toys for your money if you decide on the Connex 4800-DXL. I'm not real fond of the company that makes them but I have to admit, when set up correctly, that Connex 4800 is one Bad Boy RADIO.

I have seen many people post here on the Forum who have owned and still own and use the Connex 4800 and they have been very pleased with it's performance.
Can't help you much more than that as I have never owned or used either one of them.
