well guys im back ole MR. HONKYTONK MAN 593 outta new york. been away for awhile . been doing to much ham radio stuff but now turning on the cb again. And to ring in my return i invested in a magnum s3 mobile radio. Not sure how well they work but it looks like a winner by the review it was givin here. so when i get it in a week or so ill try it and post how well or not it works. good dx to all and hope to hear for you all sometime on my home channel of 27.415 am!! 10-7 |

well i got the radio and darn....its the most powerful little thing ive bought in awhile! that modulator that is built into it works like a charm. key 1 watt swing 40-45 on a radio shack stingy meter! another feature i liked is that it picked up less noise in my ford truck! it has a in the radio ferrite coil ( torroid) which seems to block 3 s units of noise more then my galaxy 66 or my icom 706mkiig!!! the echo is incredible in this puppy. i can honestly say this is a keeper! now maybe ill buy a magnum s 9 for the house!! have a good one 593 out of ny clear! |

I have the MAGNUM OMEGA FORCE S-45 and the MAGNUM S-3 and just got the  MAGNUM S-9 in to do a Review on and it is GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
COMPLETELY DIFFRENT INSIDE WITH MORE ADVANCED FEATURE'S.
Everyone say's it out talks the S-45 and S-3 on SSB and AM and I have to agree as I went Mobile and it is a MAJOR DIFFERENCE on TRANSMIT AND RECEIVE!
IT IS LOUD AND CRYSTAL CLEAR ON AM & SSB AND DEAD ON FREQUENCY.
This is TRUELY the FLAGSHIP of the MAGNUM LINE OF RADIO's.

Good to see you back.How do you like your 756 Pro II? I plan on doing some VHF hilltopping this summer,maybe I'll catch up with you on 6 or 2 meter SSB.Hope to see you at the Cortland fest this Saturday.
