A Lincoln driving a KLV-1000 or a Lincoln driving an x-force 60012? |

Joesph,
I have never used a x-force but the Lincoln & KLV-1000 is a GREAT Combination. 
I have used our Lincoln with our KLV-1000 and have had Very Good Result's and many contact's on SSB and all report's have also been very Good.

Go with the X-Force, good durable, PROVEN OVER TIME amp.

say hey J>B>, ive never used a lincoln, to drive an amp with, but i have a klv 1000 4 tube, and a xforce 2x6 with power supply on base!! i believe the xforce your talking about is a 6 pill and it needs a driver to get max or close out?? the klv 5 tube is a low drive and 2 to 3 watts input will do what ever you need with the lincoln, as long as the swing is not over 30 watts?? if so the swampping resitior will take the extra to ground?? in my situation, people like the way the klv sounds somewhat better then the xforce, althou the xforce does over 500 more watts then the klv?? i use the xforce on am and the klv on ssb.. works great for me in my station!! hope this helps you somewhat?? am open for ???s. |
