Just the other day, I finally got the radio installed in my truck, but before this I bought the radio from ******, the reason why I bought it was they said after max performance tune-up this radio would put out 150 watts am/fm and 200 ssb I was sold, once I got it installed I went to turn it on being in the am mode, it fired up, had the static noise you usually sq out, and when reaching for the sq to squelch it out, the radio kind of popped, also had external speaker hooked up, 9 feet of coax monkey made antenna, after the pop, it was like there was no volume any more, you could have volume all the way up sq all the way down, and still it sounded like somebody wispering over the speaker what do you think happened. the FM, USB and LSB all are fine, its just the AM side. |

WOW , I would say take it back to where you got it if not send it to Galaxy, |
