if you are looking for something to remove interference before it gets to your receiver, the MFJ-1026 might do the trick for you.
I just put one inline a couple of weeks ago for shortwave listening and it is an amazing piece of gear.
It can eradicate local dirty transformer noises and other types of local interference, and also tricks such as nulling out jamming signals and interfering adjacent stations.
One the other side, it can be used to provide additional gain by combining the noise sensing antenna with your regular receive antenna.
I read quite a few reviews, split about 50/50 pro/con, but I've found that either the cons must have not read the directions or they weren't using an appropriate noise antenna.
The really big test? I tried it on channel 6, the Superbowl, and was able to sort out all kinds of signals that were otherwise just part of a loud heterodyne.
It's worth taking a look. |

try a DSP filter. The ones Ive tested have been tremndous. Two signals almost on the same frequency, a little time spent in adjusting and viola no interference and only one signal audible.
I'm playing with a couple right now that are computer programs that use the soundcard as a DSP filter. Will post the results when I finish. |

I have used those older radio shack dsp "notch filters" they work well for the money usually under 40.00 on e-bay. I have also used car stereo equalizers and tune out interference or bring voice level up. |
