Bigbob there is compression software that will shrink the file size without shrinking the picture. There is a free software package at www.xat.com. |

IT'S ALIVE!!! Darn, that IS one big ugly P.S.! Did you build it yourself? Do you have a schematic and parts list? Do you have the power transistors mounted in the tube or under the heat sink? |

Tech181,yes I built it my self, yes I have a schematic, and 5 mj2955's in tube and 4 added in heatsink-PNPtypes,was 25 amp,now 40,I think transformer is big enough for six additional transistors, even with the upgrade the voltage drop at the transistors is only 5 volts 33 to 28 on other side drop is from 14to13.8,pretty good regulation, the transformers core is 6"x3" and the windings are 4.5 "diameter, dual inputs and dual outputs it can be wired for 220 input, hooboy then watch the electric meter.Got the schematic out,of all places,a radio shack semiconductor book thats 12 years old,it used a fixed volt.reg.I upgraded it to an adjustable,I used mj2955s cause they're cheap, then the stupid shack discontinues stocking them.Bigbob P.S.can Copper get these transistors? |
