I posted this on the mods forum and have gotten no responses. On a website for the RCI 2950 there is a mod were you can swap the finals for bigger ones like the MRF 477 and the 497. Anyone knos of this mod and how is it done? Im pretty sure it involves more than the final swap but theres a mod for the 2510/2600 that is similar. I had the mod done to my old 2510 and it DID work and i got between 55 and 65 watts PEP out of it on SSB.... |

Boxcar just posted a link in the Modification's area under Radio's / RCI2950 that may be of help to you.
This site cover's about everything on the 2950.
