Is there a way to change the roger beep so it sounds like a diesel locomotive horn,I'm a train buff and I love the diesel horn another that might be more feasible is a twin pulse that sounds like the chuff, chuff, stack talk from a Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Bigboy, now that's a pleasing sound for sure.Bigbob P.S. I don't expect anybody to answer this, because it is an obviously stoooopid question. |

You will need to find the resistor that controls the pitch of the beep tone in the RB circuit. The cap in the circuit controls the length of the tone. You could experiment with changing components until you get a low frequency droning sound, like an air horn. Which radio Bob? |

I just spent the last half hour lookng for information on what parts you would need to modify. No luck. Perhaps someone who has actually worked with the RB on the EPT690010Z board cold be of more assistance. Sorry dude. |
